Hahahahahahahahaha
> The F-35 uses a 43,000lb thrust engine, top speed of mach 1.6, which is around 1,960km/h. Tejas Mk2 has the powerful GE F414 engine, giving 98 kilonewtons of thrust and speeds up to Mach 1.8
The reason they give different units here is because 43,000lbf is 191 kilonewtons and 98 kilonewtons is 22,000lbf.
It's so far from the F-35 they had to try and obfuscate the thrust numbers and try to just compare the speed (Mach 1.6 vs Mach 1.8)
> F-35βs combat range is about 1,500km, with a ferry range up to 2,200km. Tejas Mk2βs range is around 3,000km (with drop tanks)
Just a lie here, F-35 ferry range is published as 2800km and some estimates put it closer to 3300km using the most fuel efficient thrust level for the F135 engine.
