Use a proxy border war to collapse the state and then just send in a tiger team to buy the system from whatever bydlo warlord inherits it.

if you want to succeed in this world you don’t have to be much cleverer than other people, you just have to be one day earlier than most people. This is all that it takes.
so be where they want to be before they are there and put a mine or two hundred

the convoy supporting it alone would be easily traceable.
And consider russian dogshit logistic, it's doubtful if they can manage to cover any more than 10km radius from its base

> geee how would we spot an entire convoy of enormous metallic vehicles under a cold, non-reflective trees with all the SAR, ISR and other imaging satellites we send up
Just send a small, stealthy cruise missile. Or since its way behind protected front lines, not in heavy fortified missile bases or similar an asset on pit-bike with RPG could take one out when needed.
DESU seeing how panicky Russia barks about their nukes and how nonchalantly formal everyone else is I'm convinced US has long developed reliable defenses and their biggest concern is - should the respond if Russia tries anything and how long and dirty would following land war be. So they're just keeping up the charade to keep things calm.

most of them are patrolling within european part of russia, with a few sitting amidst Siberia too. none are deployed in the mountains, probably because the truck isn't suited to moving over irregular surfaces that russians call roads in bumfuck urals.

People panic about ICBMs and all the fancy shit unnecessary. It's highest tech strategic assets reserved for most valuable targets monitored most tightly. While Russia has thousands of nukes those barely make a dozen.
The biggest issue are all those field use tactical ones, like artillery shells, aviation bombs, short range cruise and ballistic missiles like Kalibr, Iskander, Kh-22 that are scattered across random warehouses and ammo dumps, can be simply fired without following proper comms and authorizations, carried by any trruck and will get fired left and right from any plane or howitzer without prior warning.

these are barely a problem because a rogue unit can't get them anywhere scary aside from the baltic states and the eastern regions on Poland. A plane will get shot down, an artillery piece won't reach more than at best 10 kilometers behind FLOT

If they have thousands they can just nuke everything in way and keep moving until they reach ocean.
> Enemy planes approaching? nuke!
> Bakhmut style fortified city? nuke!
> River with no bridges? ...nuke?
> Advances western armor formation? nuke.. and nuke again just to make ground level.
And the "primitive" weapons they spam Ukraine with still have 2000k range covering most of Europe. While it's not a direct threat to US it can take out most US forward capability like bases in Germany. This can also happen while pretending to still be Trumps buddy and claiming that's just collateral damage while e.g. trying to stop European arming, delaying effective response against strategic assets before they're launched.

who will be moving forward after moscow is a flaming crater? because that's what will happen when they use their first nukes on the village of shitdigszko, 4 miles away from Polish border.
