I don't see how being chased by a drone on a bike on a wide open road is any worse than being chased on foot.

Electric mountain bikes seem a legit option for small scale infiltration units.

When you've got drones crawling up your ass? It's better than BMP death traps I guess from a numbers standpoint. 1 drone taking out 1 of your guys versus 1 drone taking out 8 of your guys.
current battlefield reality for both sides is extreme unit dispersion. bikes help with that while still providing mobility and maneuverability that's better than walking on foot.
