OP here, I feel you, nevertheless despite this thread being on the wrong board, this whole hobby is still worse (as is everything) than it was 5-6 years ago.

It's just kinda sad to see. I am a /o/ crossposter too, and I see it with cars too. Hobbies are no longer an affordable way to fill your time, everything has become a rich man's game.
My NA Miata? I paid $2300 in 2012. It's now probably still worth 10k. Absurdity.
