no market. Cant sell them in yurop, no one hunts anymore and the few who do hunt usually are hunting in a manner where a super quick follow up shot doesn't matter and/or they aren't gun guys and just buy the cheapest thing that works
historically semi auto hunting guns were unpopular. the remington model 8 sold fewer than 200,000 guns.
The US market historically has basically just been winchester 1873, 1892 and mostly 1894 the marlin .30-30s, .35 rem lever actions, the 1894s and mostly shotguns and bolt action rifles because the bolt guns are fast enough and cheap as shit to make
shooting where follow up shot speed mattered got guns that reflect this. historically lever action .22s weren't super popular, but pump .22s were and the pumps got replaced with semi auto .22s. for shotguns you see a mix of pumps, semi autos and over unders.
bolt guns are seen as good enough and are generally cheaper and lighter
