Reports that Russia lost four Jets and one damaged in Attack on Saky airfield Crimea
Ukraine’s Security Service struck an airfield in Saky in annexed Crimea overnight on Monday, hitting five fighter jets, which Russia uses for its regular attacks on Ukraine.
Five Russian fighter jets have been hit in an overnight drone attack by Ukraine’s security service at an airfield in Saky in Russia-annexed Crimea.
SBU stated that its Special Operations Centre "A" mission’s drones destroyed one SU-30SM aircraft, damaged another and hit three Su-24s while also striking the aviation weapons depot.
"The successful special operation carried out by the SBU in Saky marks another step toward weakening the enemy's capacity to wage its war of aggression against Ukraine," security service said.
Su-30SM is a twin-engine, two-seat multirole fighter aircraft developed by Russia, with production beginning in the early 2010s. This fighter jet is priced between €30 and €43 million.

"Tonight, SBU drones continued to target Russian military facilities in the enemy's rear. The first target of long-range UAVs was the Primorsko-Akhtarsk military airfield (Krasnodar Krai). Storage and launch sites for Shaheds, which attack Ukraine, were hit there. After the SBU drone strikes, a fire broke out in the airfield area. The second target was the Elektroprylad plant (Penza), which works for the Russian military-industrial complex. SBU drones successfully hit the facility, and smoke was observed in the area of the explosions.
- reported the SBU."
