Redpill me on the APC9K
Why would I get one of these over a TP9, an MP5K, or even a PS90?

Vector with a silencer and frt

None of those options have any use other than fun, so why spend so much money? Just print a MAC lower and buy a cheap VMAC upper. If you wanted a serious PCC, you'd buy one of the Mean Arms guns that all the competition shooters have.

Apparently, the TP9 sucks because it's meant for full auto fire. The trigger and suppressor both are meant for this. So the semi-auto, civilian TP9 ends up with a terrible trigger and an overbuilt suppressor.

Was a meme, until people started making FRTs for the Vector.
They were banking off of video game/media appearances to sell their gun, but its cultural relevance has declined over the last decade. They also haven't made any noteworthy products other than the Vector since then, so I actually think that the FRT saved Kriss as a company in the long term.

I'm just wondering if it's snake oil or not. Have you tested other PCCs in the same caliber as your vector to confirm that the vector actually has less recoil?

interesting how the smg vector never took off in professional use but the FRT somehow makes it good?

The trigger meant for full auto bit has to do with the TMP/SPP having a progressive trigger like the aug where little pull = semi, big pull = auto. MP9/TP9 did away with this, trigger just sucks because its a weird mechanism to fit into the gun. The giggigilitototi or however the fuck its spelled rifle works trigger is a huge improvement for the semi TP9, it doesnt work in selectfire guns though so into the trash it went.
>Overbuilt
Idk ive got a selectfire MP9 and its for sure just barely holding on. The gen 2 vented can I have is way nicer than the original fully sealed design but despite it looking chonk, its just aluminum.

>>64079240
As an FFL I need to warn you against this.
Vectors are notoriously shitty internals and you'd need to replace both the barrel and other internals to handle full auto fire rates if you don't want it to explode in your hands. They used to sell full auto conversion kits actually that included a new barrel, bolt carrier and trigger set, but for some reason they stopped (they were like $900 anyways).
Anonymous No.64081030
>>64080492
They have a lot of polymer shit they cheaped out on and the proprietary mitigation thing is honestly a meme, so they were super unreliable. Lots of them grenaded in people's hands so no legitimate enterprise wanted to use them in any kind of real world load out. They're kinda fun though, the FFL community is always finding ways to convert them to full auto because it's notoriously difficult without the factory kit or original select fire.

>9mm
>straight mag
What is the point of building an ultra-reliable cycling mechanism, and then needlessly feeding a tapered cartridge through a straight magazine body? What purpose does all the extra friction serve? I get why mags need to be straight in Uzi's, TP9's and all similarly-configured 9MMs, but it's not necessary on a PDW with a dedicated magwell.

Anyway OP, just get a Stribog sp9a3s and watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07Yg2ZAHtPU

Shut up you fat fucking LARPer

The only incident I can find of that ever happening is 2 FA vectors blowing up at a range due to bad ammo. There have been a couple out of battery discharges, but that was limited to gen 1 vectors. There’s literally no evidence to suggest that anything you’re saying is true

Despite popular belief a correctly-engineered 9mm PDW is more maneuverable, controllable, and suppressible than a 223 or 300bo SBR.

Even supersonic 124gr or 115gr indoors won't fuck your ears up like 77gr from a 7.5" barrel will. Whole different league.

It's still a meme, I know the popular stance here is that the recoil mitigation "only works in FA so in Semi it's just retarded," but it also doesn't really work in FA either. Congrats, instead of the recoil bouncing back into your shoulder, it's bouncing down into your hands. Super letdown after playing so many games that had it growing up.

Doesn't matter if it's a cucked civvie version or a real-deal post-sample, the Vector should really only appeal to you if you're chasing that early 2010s FPS vibe from your childhood.

You still have posted literally no evidence to support your claims. If it’s happening so often, why is there only 1 report (ammo related) of full auto vectors exploding since 2009 when it released?

I guarantee that I have shot more machine guns than you. On top of that I have multiple super safe weapons. Go back to your circle jerk safe space in /arg/

Go to any rental range and ask their experience with them. There is a reason they are less and less common each day.

Because nobody who owns a vector shoots them enough for them to fail.
