I'm gonna respond like you aren't full of shit so please don't make me look even more dumb than I already do.
#1, don't an-hero at any point. Not worth it, plus we all die some day anyway so just be patient.
#2, especially don't an-hero with a gun. If you do then you'll become an anti-gun statistic to wield against gun owners forever. That's not a good way to be remembered is it?
#3, if you are really feeling overwhelmed and unsure if you are safe around your guns, call a family member or friend who understands what you're experiencing and will hold your guns for you until you are ready to get them back.
#3.5, if you don't have someone like that then consider reaching out to a gun store or gunsmith near you and asking if you can store your firearms with them (sometimes for a fee).
Hold My Guns is a nonprofit that helps with this sort of thing too and I highly suggest reaching out.
