Just small ways to make your house a harder target for potential robbers, attackers, etc.
Subtly. No anti air batteries on the roof.

Ignore the suggestions about quicksand and piranhas and such.

Back up the landscaping with the usual suggestions about good locks, better doors, break resistant film for windows, etc.

And mount some cameras in bird houses, put up some of those solar powered yard lights, ideally the lights and cameras overlap so if one is found or damaged, it doesn't leave a hole in the coverage.

They also block the sightline of people off the property, like burglars casing the neighborhood. Or snipers, if that's logical threat, like someone in the criminal justice system might face.

But if sightlines are a big concern, you go with a wide, low thorny bush, something wide enough no one is going to jump over it. Like a living plant version of a low wire entanglement.

Most of us would do trees at the property line and then bushes closer to the house. People stand out well against the trees, either visually or via thermals, and thus you know you have company and can determine you next course of action.

The best bang for your buck is to have bars on the insides of the windows and a way to barricade your doors from the inside with a metal bar that goes into the floor or similar. Most people, even armed and determined people, will give up when they realize they aren't getting in without busting out some type of sledgehammer or tools. And even then, it's not like you won't be shooting at them when they are attempting to break in. Battery powered alarms can be installed on every window and door also, so that if they should come open when you are sleeping, a very loud alarms rings out, as loud as a smoke detector. This will at least wake you up and you'll be at least armed and ready for what's coming. Motion alert cameras are also very cheap nowadays. They can alert your phone if anyone even approaches say, your front or back door.

Anything else is likely a waste of money. But if you are filthy rich, who cares.

I've always wanted a property with a secret underground bunker, with several walkable tunnels that lead up and out to random places on the property, with the exit points camouflaged by terrain and bushes, etc... That way if you are overrun, you can at least retreat out of some tunnel to some point like 200 yards away from the house. But that's billionaire type shit.

Installing an exterior grade door with a good deadbolt for your bedroom is another cost-effective improvement you can do yourself. Even if someone gets into your house, it'll buy you a bit more time to wake up and ready yourself.
Being able to lock the bedroom door when you're out or on vacation also means another barrier slowing down any smash and grab burglaries when you're out.

Motion-activated exterior lighting too, especially if you live in an area with friendly/nosy neighbors.

>I've always wanted a property with a secret underground bunker, with several walkable tunnels that lead up and out to random places on the property, with the exit points camouflaged by terrain and bushes, etc...
I've got a basement saferoom with a crawlable tunnel to the pool house. Secret staircase running from the bedroom to the kitchen to the basement too. Didn't cost as much as you'd think, I'm definitely no billionaire.

An entrance control point at the entrance to your property. This is mostly assuming the rest of the perimeter of your property is secured or difficult to cross, but even an ECP design on a paved road has value.

Essentially just a heavily exaggerated S shape in the entry road, forcing potential attackers to slow down, giving you time to counter. But a paved road in that shape only deters those in a standard vehicle. If they can just plow through it in a 4x4, then all that work was for nothing. Adding speed bumps and surrounding it with 2 foot earthen barriers or deep wadis works.

attach the strike plates for all your external doors all the way to the door frame by using 3" or 3-1/2" screws rather than the 2" or 1 1/2" they always come with. Makes your doors far harder than normal to kick in, forcing them to possible kick it 2 or three times to gain entry, alerting you in the process, and possibly getting them to just fuck off knowing they have made too much noise already.

Btw it was never investigated the tunnels were just filled with concrete. This also happened in the rape tunnels on the epstein island shortly before being apprehended he ordered a whole bunch of cement and consteuction equipment to his island.

Btw he didnt kill himself, he was arrested during the trump reign and got to walk free + zion don is in the files because hes a pedo who raped kids at epstein island.

Elon musk literally called it, lmao.

ANYWAYS please stop discussing politics on my weapons board.

I would like to add to the discussion that there are multiple defence systems that when triggered quickly fill a room with teargas for example. If the purple burglar who caused the alarm didnt bring a gasmask but you have one you get snother leg up on him

Sturdy doors and security windows.
That's pretty much it unless you want your house to look like some place where something fishy is going on or splurge insane amounts of money, though security windows and good doors are already costly.

Please dont send a tank to my house.

Speaking of, lets get back to the topic at hand, how do i defend my house against tanks?
A trench is barely enough since tanks are designed to destroy them, even war trenches. This was common in the iraq war (jews in american govt started it with jewish lies and killed 1 mio iraqis) where the tank wouldnt engage the enemy trench and just run over it and then turn ontop of it burying the enemy soldiers.

Depends on the size, if you want it real big you should buy a mini excavator, if you think you can so it by hand do it.
Determine frost depth, this is the depth to which the ground freezes every year, if the foot of your bunker is below that, good, frozen ground will lift buildings if they dont sit underneat it and tear off waterlines etc.
Do a layer of gravel all around then pour like 1cm of concrete and roughly even it out. On this you can place the coverage to hold in place the concrete for your real footing, for rebar just ask the guy at the store for sonething that always works, you cant do too much rebar. Important, have one mat on the ground and one at the top with a few cm back from the exterior layers. Then buy precast concrete bricks and build the walls, then get some picrels adjust to height, layout the boards for coversge and cast the concrete like you did before, rebar is alot more important here, just ask the guy at the store. Now you look at a youtube video on simple timber framing and build the cabin, then you do another layer of concrete without rebar on a layer of insulation ontop of the bunker ceiling on which yiu can layout the floorboards. Now plaster the thick bitumen stuff around the outside of the bunker walls, glue on installation, fill the hole with gravel and then plqnt some nice flowers in your gsrden

I add a welcome mat and unhinge the lockset that holds up the 40lb to activate floor drop trap.

It's just a mild spring thats bent a little that holds it on a sliding angle lip that holds it up. About 3 gallons of water activates it. The front door has elevated hinges so it closes by itself.
