Don’t check if a gun is loaded by putting it in your mouth and pulling the trigger

Hey guys, so we shouldn't do this.
I saw a comment in some thread saying something like
“If you’re not sure a gun’s loaded, just point it somewhere safe and pull the trigger. If it goes off, it was loaded.” Logical enough, wouldn't you agree?
Just cleared the chamber. There’s no mag, so its safe. I decided id try it in my mouth since its a safe secluded space and would probably drown out some sound if it was fired.
I put the pistol in my mouth and pulled the trigger. It went off.
The round had been chambered from a half- seated mag I didn't fully drop, I heard the slide click when I moved it, but thought nothing of it (cheap chinese gun)
The bullet blew through my cheek and into the wall. I woke up in the ER with half my teeth shattered and part of my tongue missing.
You people are not funny. You are not clever. You're just dangerous. I'm furious!
Heed this advice
