Nisus and Euryalus come close to reviving it with the slaughter the wreak in the Aeneid, but it's ultimately a failure. Although, I will say that Aeneas' nick of time amphibious landing to smash Turnus was pretty sick. But he's more of a straight combat guy, taking a coward trucd-breaker's arrow to the chest and STILL dominating and mogging the most powerful hero around and turning a guy who was happy to get locked alone in an enemy camp so he could rampage like a wolf in a sheep's pen into a bitch who runs away begging. That was the standard until that incident where those Navy Seals executed the hostage they were meant to save from the Medellin cartel in the. The Seal had his M-16 in 3-round burst, and the third round missed the cartel guy and hit the hostage.

This. I've gradually been working my way through the SOGcast whenever I have to do a long drive and that shit is kino. It's wild there haven't been more movies and vidya based on it because the shit they got up to is pretty much the closest reality has ever come to the usual one man army stereotype.
