Why ? the Su-34 is an excellent long range bomber that can actually dodge missiles and has seen actual combat. Its raining hell on ukraine too. About 10 of these can do alot. Not to mention its great for big countries since it holds an absolute fuckton of fuel.
This is also the best time to buy russian stuff since the rouble is fucking worthless so it's now or never

Reminder that Iran placed down an order for 24 Su-35s in 2022. They started training their pilots in Spring 2022, having been promised a delivery date in mid-2023. By the time Israel starting bombing them in mid-2025, 2-4 jets had reportedly been delivered, probably as dedicated training platforms. Depending on the Russian MIC for your country's security is a real big brain move for sure.

The US and Algeria have a cordial relationship as Algeria is part of the NATO Mediterranean Dialogue and other American-led cooperations, and Algeria value the US as a counter-weight to the Russian/Chinese/European influence.
