nah i was just kinda in the moment with them. shit wasnt too good back then and their anguish really made me feel things i never felt before, like it awakened my humanity. i watched a lot of gore back then too, something about that video made a lasting impression on me. people become clean again once theyre dead, and that moment of transition is chilling to witness.

One of my uncles shot down a friendly returning to the airbase he was defending. Their radio got taken out, I don't remember if he was ordered or it was his call, but the guys were pissed after walking back to base holding parachutes.
