Was scoring hits out to 200 yards with subsonic 300 and a simple red dot I immediately bought a 1-8 LPVO for it on the trip back from the range.

A SIG tango because its my first real foray into LPVOs.
I might start reloading too, was swapping out subsonic and supersonic ammunition simply changing my holds all in a 7.5" barrel with a 10" can on it.
Subsonic was shooting with almost 40-50" of bullet drop at 200 yards lol.
I need the reference points on a magnified sight I hope to score decent groups out to 300 yards with 220 grain subsonics.
You should all buy 300 uppers so the price of ammo goes down, its a VSS/silent scout rifle clone and an SBR at the same time.
My FRT cycled with subsonics too lmao.

Also with the 10" can the over all length is about 2" less than my 16" carbine lol.

in that clip the first 2 are 200yd and the 3rd is 300. i'm using an exps3-4 and g45, works very well to 300. past that your target is way under the reticle and it gets a little tougher, i still managed to get a few hits at 400. i imagine it'll be no problem with an lpvo reticle

I've started moving towards distance shooting.
If you aren't doing some sort of carbine drills like pistol drills I think the short range can become a waste of ammo.
You can do hole drills at 25 yards to get trigger time in, but Ive started to like the idea of walking a round on target at a decent distance.
I think its hard to find long distance ranges for people though.

Im a GPR, fighting in Appalachia/farmland anon. I usually shoot no further than 400m myself. And yeah I hate it for anons that cant find a NF wilderness or secluded power line for distance shooting. I feel like some people may not be willing to make the effort though. I drive hours to get to my spots but then again I do 3+ 'FTXs'
