At least a dozen foreign volunteers serving in Ukraine’s military were killed
At least a dozen foreign volunteers serving in Ukraine’s military were killed in a Russian missile strike on a training camp in central Ukraine late last month,

The victims of the July 21 attack near the city of Kropyvnytskyi reportedly included citizens of the United States, Colombia, Taiwan, Denmark and other countries.

According to The New York Times, the missile hit the base’s dining hall during lunchtime, when soldiers were inside.
An anonymous American recruit from Florida told the newspaper the blast was the loudest he had ever heard, adding that he saw at least 15 dead and more than 100 wounded.

A lot of people in Columia suffered terribly because of Russian backed marxist groups, the same story in many places around the world. Naturally those that lost freinds or family due to Russian activity in their nations, a practice that Putin embraced and conninued in many many nations decided that taking up arms againnst evil was thr ight thing to od. Most volunteers are not in it for money. They are in it because they believe in the Ukranian cause, libertym freedom, democracy and standing against teh evil of Russia and its web of useful idiots, traitors and quislings. The article reminded me that dispite what is going on that there are very many good and courageous Americans who stood with Ukraine in the mud and bullets when the fight was hard and they are not represented by Americas politicians who bring Putin on holiday, yet there they are and America should be very proud of these men of principle. They will never be forgotten or the volunteers of other nations.

Slava Ukrani

The Lord ruleth me: and I shall want nothing. He hath set me in a place of pasture. He hath brought me up, on the water of refreshment: He hath converted my soul. He hath led me on the paths of justice, for his own name's sake. For though I should walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I will fear no evils, for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff, they have comforted me. Thou hast prepared a table before me against them that afflict me. Thou hast anointed my head with oil; and my chalice which inebriateth me, how goodly is it!

So in more simple words, Colombia is a piss poor country with a big army, and abnormally large CIA presence. Which translates into hundreds of dead Colombian mercenaries overseas. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

>«We had bank debts, and wanted to finish building our house,» Paz says. Medina's salary as a security guard was not enough to finance the construction work, as he had to support two children, his elderly parents and a disabled brother.

>A friend told him about the opportunity to earn up to $3,000 a month in Ukraine. All he had to do was register online with the army for a recruitment interview, and then sign a contract. The couple decided together that Medina would go to war. He took out a bank loan to pay for the trip, which cost just under $2,500.

>Upon arriving in Ukraine, Medina first underwent two months of basic training in Ternopil, a city in western Ukraine. There, the army assesses the degree to which applicants ar fit and suitable for military service. Then it was off to the east, to the trenches. Five days of fighting. Two days off. And then back into battle.

>During this period, fellow mercenaries warned in local Columbia media that Colombians were being used as cannon fodder. Medina's battalion was known for being sent to fight on difficult fronts. Paz says he told her of the dead, of many dead. And once the Russians finally killed one of Medina's best friends, he decided to return to his family.

Dying for some land you have no ties to is retarded, the West is fucked enough; you couldn't pay me enough to fight for them when my own nation needs me.

Suicide. I'm not joking. I know a few guys who recently got out and have had to be talked out of going over.
They don't actually give a shit about Ukraine in a deep sense. They just want to take one last line of the sweet nose beer that is combat and go out how they feel they should.

I don't know what it's like over there but I can only imagine the non stop shelling on both sides and drones would be compete hell

Is it? I fought for a foreign nation because they were in a war of just defense.

I just don't believe in it right now. Russia isn't a threat to Western Europe and our countries have enough problems to where we can't be bothered to send good men to die in a foreign country.

That's what decades of war and limited post-service opportunities do to a mf. No need for CIA glownigs (especially with the current admin lmao) or layers of idealism.
The fact Russia's a big buddy of Venezuela though makes it very easy to choose sides in this conflict for them at least.

Apparently a Ukrainian soldier costs around 24000 euros a year. Why not pay mercenaries this much money to go fight Russia? The mercs could bring their own gear or buy gear at a discount from the Ukrainians.
