Brinks Truck Robbery
> Police are investigating whether the armed robbery of a Brinks truck on Tuesday outside a Philadelphia-area store is related to four other attacks on armored vehicles in and around the city this summer. Two armed males got away with between $700,000 and $800,000 in the midday heist at an H Mart, according to Cheltenham Township police.
> Two masked men rob armored truck in broad daylight
>For the 5th fucking time over the past few months
There's a couple guys out there having fun in the sun making millions off a glock, an AR pistol, and confidence. And here you are, wasting away your summer on /k/.
In reality, I thought the guys that drive these trucks also have rifles and armor and training to prevent exactly this. I've also heard they get paid a hair above minimum wage to move millions daily. The guy seemed like he was alone and unaware, but maybe he just didn't give a shit. Is robbing a money truck really just as easy as your average urban doctor's smash and grab?

you also seem to not have looked in to the story enough to know that the guard was female, which can explain some things on it's own.
my question is, why was a brinks guard walking *into* a supermarket with 3/4 of a million in a bag, when if they were running collections, it would make sense for them to only take empty bags and leave the other businesses' collections in the armored truck with the other guard, the driver?.. assuming she wasn't set out to work solo like i've seen in at least one other armored truck robbery.

after they started using those over here cash transport robberies just stopped overnight
Most of them aren't even done in armored vans anymore

I've seen them "training" at my local indoor range. The 4 of them couldn't even afford 2 lanes and were taking turns shooting at the same target. I legitimately couldn't tell who the supervisor was, or if there even was one

The armed guards get like 25 bucks an hour I think. Not minimum wage but you could still easily make the same or better without running the risk of being blown away by feral dark ones. Also most of the ones I've seen are only armed with pistols.

It's not just that they don't trust their room temp IQ employees, it's that sacks are much, much cheaper. Brinks is so bottom of the barrel cheap that I've worked on armored cars where the wiring is held together with alligator clips and duct tape.

The banks just underestimated the level of security needed to protect their money.
It was cheaper to underemploy and underprotect critical assets.
Any normal modern Eurovan has timers and locks with dye packs at all stages, this is basic bitch security that lazy banks have decided aren't necessary because that costs money to buy and maintain.

It's just the boom and bust cycle of robberies, criminal gangs are effectively sharing surveillance avoidance tips online, there's still a ton of inaccessible places for cops, and their turnup time can be measured in hours in some cities unless you actually fire your weapon.

Basically, fuck metacorps, fuck banks, create more risk, fuck their bottom line because they hired jeets to replace you.

Because these idiots are almost 100% going to wind up in prison. If their attempts to spend/launder it doesn't get them, the IRS asking where they got the money for those 20 Rolex watches will.

Why is that buffer tube so skinny?
Anonymous No.64120615
>>64120415
Pistol buffers don't need to have a stock mounting point. They just need to contain the buffer and spring. Sometimes they have a piece of foam wrapped around it for a cheek rest but that isn't strictly necessary. Without all that stuff they end up looking really skinny.

I was at a gas station once filling up my car when a Brinks truck pulled up near the pump next to me. The driver stepped out, and he honestly looked to be about 75 years old. He was thin and frail, and shuffled over to the back of the truck to get his hand cart. Then, from the passenger seat, came a truly incredibly obese woman who looked like she was having a real difficult time standing up. She was short, and probably at least 400 pounds. I'm not inclined to be a violent criminal, but I'm very confident I could have gotten the gun away from either of them and used it on both of them. They haven't been violently robbed simply because nobody has decided to do it yet.

Evidently. /Pol/ is never wrong.

Majority shareholder of brinks happens to be BlackRock.

The Brink's Company (BCO) is a publicly traded company, meaning it's owned by its shareholders. Major institutional investors include BlackRock Advisors LLC, Fidelity Management & Research Co., LLC, and Vanguard Fiduciary Trust Co.. The company's stock trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol BCO.

Committing crime is easy; it's why so many criminals are lazy (if it took effort, they wouldn't do it). Getting away with the crime is the hard part.

You two should look up the AK bandit. Pulled 5 successful bank robberies in 2015-2017 but got caught afterwards due to his severe alcoholism problem (after he had gotten away clean, he got pulled over for a DUI stop while he had the money in the trunk).

Yup, I went to school with a guy whose father was a retired PD Chief. Told me anyone who can write a note can probably get away with robbing a bank and walk out with 3-5k. The problem is they almost always try it 6-7-8 times and eventually their luck runs out.

Something similar happened in my neck of the woods. Guy hit a couple of local credit unions, would steal one of the tellers cars and dump it on some bumfuck dirt road for the getaway. Got caught smoking meth in his car, and cops found everything he used for the robberies in his trunk.
He was a regular customer at the gas station I worked at, always bought whole units of red Gatorade
