PSA tards don't know how to check competitor prices, they automatically assume PSA is the best in every way and they never actually learn how stupid they are. SAD! Many such cases.

There is a 1:1 correlation with people buying PSA ARs and saying the AR isn't a reliable platform. It's so funny to me seeing people say "a PSA AR is all you need" and then moan about how the AR sucks because they have to do a ton of work to get theirs to barely run

There are worse AR companies: Bear Creek Arsenal, DPMS Panther Arms (after being bought out by Cerberus group), Stag Arms, Davidson Defense, and Blackthorn Products (formerly known as Hesse Arms, Vulcan Arms, Special Weapons and Coharie Arms; you might recognize the Special Weapons name as it's the brand that the original mall ninja meme defended).

I think you're making shit up, senpai. There really isn't anything inherently wrong with the parts they use or the rifles they assemble, aside from their castle buts being torqued down way too much. I've had worse times dealing with Brownells.

He is. Since the PSA AKs are all shit, now the haters are coming out of the woodwork to claim that their AR-15s are bad as well.

H&R does hate money, it's why they went broke in 2015 and had to get bought out by PSA.

Psa uppers are cheap and run just as good as a mil spec issue m4. Im not sure what you are talking about with reliability. They function just fine. The AR platform is pretty hard to fuck up. Usually a "bad one" and you just end up with accuracy that falls into the military standard. They aren't sniper rifles...

I don't understand why they're even bothering with this if it's just some temporary stock FOMO bait for whales. Wouldn't it make more sense as a business to use that budget on tooling for a permanent gun line and selling it at a sane price to the tone of a hundred thousand customers?

Their first-gen AK had a lot of problems with the bolt shearing off (tearing itself to pieces) due to them making them out of cast metal. How many rounds has yours been put through?

Anonymous No.64122783
>>64122769
Mind you this isn't to say I don't think they've had issues with their AKs, their 7.62 line has only recently gotten solid overall and I think they're still smarting with how they fucked their 5.56 AK kickoff. The Krinks, however, seem to have had an easier time of it, so maybe they actually learned.

All depends on how the receivers are made. AFAIK the only company actually making US-spec receivers is BULA.

No thank you. The qc standards
of us factories are trash and fall damn near enough to PSA. From what I understand, if these are made by H&R, they do their own assembly and QC separate from PSA and have lower volume so they can check more of them thoroughly.

That's a bit off the wall for PSA, but if they actually do have original H&R tooling from the 1960s and factory space to utilize it I would be genuinely impressed.

I suspect they are biting off more than they can chew though. Making an M14 clone that isn't total ass is very difficult.
>>64122114
Price is going to matter a lot. LRB are about 3k, Bula is about 2k and change. That doesn't leave PSA much room to undercut them without making a glorified M1A, which is ass.
>>64122602
There is a market for M14s, particularly for restrictive states. SAI has had a virtual monopoly on it for decades now, but with their dwindling quality and soaring prices, there's a market gap for a rifle that is either cheaper, better or both. Either bar is easy enough to clear, but both would be a challenge. I reckon PSA/H&R can do it, but it's a coin toss. The M14 is not an easy gun to manufacture properly.
>>64123358
It wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to contract with Bula for the receivers and assemble everything else. The receiver is by far the trickiest part of the M14 to make, with correct and consistent assembly being the next major stumbling block.

I hope they have some M1/M14 long range match autists involved because they can tear apart any deficiency in design/manufacturing which is exactly what a project like this needs.

I wish. But despite very clearly having the ability to do so, they won't. They're not going to properly beta test something before releasing it. They're not going to increase starting pay for gun assemblers and inspectors by $5 an hour to get people that can actually do their job. The amerislop will continue.

I still buy AR parts from them though because the parts themselves are actually fine, it's just the assembly on the complete rifles that you have to worry about. But at this point I have experience and tools that I can handle that.
Anonymous No.64126844
I might actually buy one after researching but ultimately passing on their AKs.
Kind of for the same reason. M1A's are obscenely priced pieces of shit so there's room for PSA to even do their marginal thing and they'll beat the M1A.

Why you fags have names? Go back to red dit. You paid too much. You don't know about production of metal parts at volume. You are fags who don't reload. You dont need to "work" on a AR to make it run. You don't even have a gun
