About ~500 rounds into it. I think I can safely say now it won't blow up.

It still is a weird thing to shoot, knowing who made it and the laziness at times put into it. After a few changes in magazine design, I'm in a little of a hundred rounds without any real notable issue in feeding. Feel happy with the latest lifting cams I've made for the magazine.

Groups are nothing spectacular. I can't complain by them, but neither awesome or bad in my mind. With feeding finally being sorted, I've been doing a few little tests to see about improving groups.

This group shown isn't bad, but I think I need to go back to a previous level of barrel tension. It has a bit of a vertical stringing to it.

Just factory load by a brand I recently found locally on the shelves called DRT. I've tried hand loading without much success, but... everything I've loaded has been pretty questionable at best with just using what I can find locally. Feel like it's been a decade since I can find good primers, powders, and bullets I actually want to use instead of just "eh... this concoction might work" components. I could order online, but at the point it's not worth it after paying shipping.

The issue is that it is inauthentic.
If you bring up Romans 13 to tell Christians that they have to pay for sexual reassignment surgeries or euthanasia because that is the law and the Bible tells you to follow the law and that leaders are chosen by God so you have to obey, you aren't actually making a moral or rational argument. The two passages work together. Because the Bible is a collection that was written to have some kind of rough coherence (within reason of a work that was written over hundreds of years by people with rapidly changing religious doctrines).

About twenty years ago there was Ironwood Designs. Guy did custom 10/22 wa2000's. They were well made and beautiful.
Sadly, he died of cancer a couple of years back.

The PSL has a stouter (or at least less noodley) barrel. It's also a normal AK inside so you don't need to have replacement parts custom made. A 4 pitch ACME threading bar was slightly modified in profile to match the bolt lug profile, it was then used to cut the lugs in the extension on a .2362" pitch, along with jigs made for holding the extension piece for repeatability. Jig in the lathe to repeat threat start degree, and jig in the mill to index it correctly for the three lug pathways to be lined correctly when torqued into the receiver.

A sacrificial extension was made, ID threaded at a mathed out, but still estimated, thread pitch start, and then it had the lug pathways milled out. With the first one I could assemble and measure the bolt face, do the math to change my thread start degree to dial in and move where the bolt needed to sit inside by how ever many thousandths I needed it, and then a second one was made that came out how I wanted it.

I cheated and used a AICS single stack magazine, thinking it would save me time. The feed lips had to be heavily modified, and lifting had to be welded onto the magazine. Went through 3 different magazines and multiple cam designs being welded on, removed, and rewelded on. Currently am more than satisfied with the most recent mag mix up design.
