Worry not, there will be T-55s on Mars or (more logistically feasible) Titan. The Norks have 2000 of the damn things.

The versatility of the rifled gun remains valuable, and the less risk of encountering MBTs, the more versatile it will be.

Titan has human survivable atmospheric pressure, there are places where it is technically possible for you to walk around with nothing but warm clothing and a oxygen mask.

I imagine T55s are like Kikuri Hiroi in terms of looks, an odd beauty, an underweight drunken hag with sharky tooth, she is useless most of the time except for 2 or so things.

>Titan has human survivable atmospheric pressure, there are places where it is technically possible for you to walk around with nothing but warm clothing and a oxygen mask.

Titan atmosphere temperature is about -200 C. It literally rains liquid natural gas from the sky. And you think you can handle this with an oxygen mask and some warm clothing?

That is exactly what you would do, you need oxygen and insulation. Not needing to pressurize a thermal suit is a massive advantage. You would have what is effectively a oxygen mask and warm clothing. Very warm clothing but warm clothing none the less.

When your most prolific tank is older than the average life expectancy of your male citizens it is time to reconsider your strategic plans.
