>mfw own the MACTASTIC>
>M10/9 to be exact
>the fcg was completely bubba'd
>therefore it only shoots in full auto, semi doesn't work, missing the trip and everything, need to source a whole new fcg
>man i really should find some spare mags while i'm at
>orders some completely overpriced recent production one which i had to fill various export forms to get here
>they sit too high in the gun the bolt slams in them instead of stripping a round
>now thinking what and where i will file to fix that

I LOVE THE MACTASTIC EXPERIENCE

these maps were really cool, I'l admit I played the sanitized version with Hideous Destructor, but I was still blown away by the mapping design, same goes for every installation of this series

/k/ likes submachine guns. they just aren't something that civilians are able to participate in, and there really hasn't been anything new to talk about in that ballpark for the past 30 years anyway

Never shot an MAC-11. What's the accuracy on target like really close range = 25m? Full giggle.

Never shot one myself, I was just commenting on how good it looks with the SIONICS suppressor equipped.
There is a famous saying about it that it's, ''Good for combat in a phonebooth and nothing else.''

There hasn't been any new developments in *any* type of firearms for 50 years (AR-15, for one).
Talk about submachine guns

>"civilians participate"
Who gives a fuck. Even MG collectors don't own or have some of the most widely produced full autos

Gonna guess they meant these supercompact 9mm that empty the mag in 0,5s, maybe I'm completely off but is my assumption.

Because most of this board buys into the just make AR15s with ever shorter barrels marketing scheme. That's why in post your guns threads you will always see a flood of damn near identical guns. I am not shitting on the AR15 itself, I own one and have put more rounds through it than probably all my other guns put together, bit I recognize that it is not the best gun for every scenario, and that there are jobs it was never meant to fill. No amount of shoehorning, barrel chopping, or obscure clambering will change this fact.

Because we can't own them. Posting about them would be no better than faggy nogunz Yuros who have no firsthand experience yet feel compelled to post anyway.

I have shot a semi-auto cobray. It was a real piece of shit.

Any of those have new mechanisms?

Beretta Px4, Grand Power are the only ones
and not substantially different from Browning-action, in other words they're not really "new" developments though yes they are different pistols than most on the present market

As posted above, even MG collectors lack some of the widely produced full autos
not everything posted to or discussed on /k/ has to be 'guns you own'
We all own and shoot guns. Our interest in firearms (at least mine) extends far beyond merely those

MG collectors have at least shot a machine gun to form an opinion about them. And former military have used machine guns (military, not ATF term) in training and live fire scenarios.

SMGs are cool, but I don't feel the need to post about something I have no experience to tell.

so what you're implying is that nobody uses submachine guns any more (except collectors) so there's no point?

aka submachine guns are a dodo of firearms

No I mean these, "discussions," are the equivalent of a nogunz spouting their opinion off on shit they have no idea what they're talking about.

I love how the Mac-10 looks with a suppressor and extended magazine. It's goofy but in a good way.
Also I like to imagine someone running out of ammo, grabbing it by the suppressor, and whacking people with the magazine like stick.
I think Hank from Madness Combat did that at some point with a Mac-10 so that's probably where I got that idea.

checked, my recall of the Ingram M10 is from 'McQ' (1974) and 'Three Days of the Condor' (1976)

U.S. specops forces used them in small numbers late 60s/early 70s in southeast Asia

I want to see a full sized simple blowback 16 inch barreled bullpup mac-10 with a side charging handle and an OTs-14 Groza style buttpad. I bet it would be the shittiest rifle ever produced, and would be an uncomfortable pile of shit to shoulder and fire.

I want my HD gun to be a light machine gun that I didn't have to play mother may I with government cock suckers to obtain.

I hit squirrels out to 40-50 yards with my M11/9 with a red dot on it. Especially modern uppers can be pretty accurate, you just have to get used to the bolt dropping before the round lights off.
