And then all of a sudden, on the eve of GWOT in 1998, we get Saving Private Ryan, which opened the floodgates of WW2 movies, tv series and video games. Almost like they wanted us to forget about the Message Vietnam taught us, that the government is full of duplicitous corrupt fucktards who used the Nam as poor people population control while they got rich as fuck.
