easier to fly a disposable 10 inch quad with a couple kilos of c4. a suicide drone with some kind of a contact fuze is also more reliable and quick than dropping a bomb and flying out which leaves the enemy less response time

Most of those were large nation states with industrial know-how and functional government institutions however. And while the countries were pretty wrecked after the war not *every* part of the country was as equally wrecked. Gaza by contrast is an impoverished city state that has been pretty consistently leveled and its run by what is essentially a street gang. I'm pretty sure the Israelis will be able to get full (i.e. Palantir level) control of all significant Palestinian authorities if things keep going as they are. There is only so much human turnover that can be withstood before compromised people find ways into critical roles and start rewriting underlying narratives (as directed).
