New Chinese Hypersonic Missile Spotted
Why is China allowed to have an air-breathing scramjet cruise missile before anyone else?
Anonymous No.64145012
And if they already have Hypersonics, why also build subsonic stealth missiles? Aren't they like a downgrade?
Anonymous No.64145014
And why do they also use unpowered hypersonic boost glide missiles if they already have scramjets?

Chinese parades live rent free in the minds of americans.
Anonymous No.64145026 >>64145244
One answer would be to use all of them at the same time to overwhelm enemy defenses, since either of these missiles require a different interceptor to counter, as everyone is coming at a different trajectory and engagement envelope.

If they can be spotted I assume they aren't very fast, not impressed.

That shit is a bicone aero ballistic missile like the Russian Iskander. Like the most primitive form of hypersonic, not an air breathing scramjet. A bicone hypersonic is still not bad, but it's like 1980s tech aka improved Pershing II.

this graph has quasi-ballistic missiles and aero ballistic missiles completely mixed up and inaccurately depicted.
