Supposedly this character is based on an actual dude, who was known to be kind of badass.
They had an interview with someone who was attempting to kill him, and the guy said he had trapped him on the fourth floor of some crack house, but the Omar dude just jumped out of the fucking window, fell four floors, broke his ankles, and still ran away and survived to rob more drug dealers.

I'm sure I'm not remembering it 100% and that's not exactly how it went but it's close.

>But anon, it's just a regular Enfield
Is what I already hear you say. No, it takes a fireformed .303 case that's more or less straightwall. The barrel has been bored out to .410 cal, smoothbore, and the magwell has been blocked with a pinned piece of wood and a follower thrown on top to make it single shot only. Somehow I never bothered to take a good pic of it so here's some generic shit off google images. Mine's just about the same color no matter how many times I use Murphy's Oil Soap or Dawn. I thought it was just dirt and grease but It's really just that dark. I gave up after a while and decided to stop before I fucked the wood up. Washed the soap off, dried it, and used BLO.
>Have you shot it?
...No. Wish I could some time soon but "saying the ammo is uncommon and no one makes new production ammo" is an understatement. The rifle (?) was a whole $120 though so it was a no-brainer lol.

If you're suggesting a .410 shotshell, then no. Which is really frustrating as .303 and .444 Marlin both can be made into .410 shells with varying success (IIRC rim thickness is the biggest problem with .303?). .410 shells are just slightly too fat at the end and there is no space for the crimp to open up. There, however, were plenty of these converted to fire .410 shells very easily by simply reaming the chamber out for .410 which removes relatively little material (mostly when they were imported in large quantities in the 90s before sale, probably for a slight upcharge compared to unconverted). What you have to do to make ".410 Indian Musket" is pretty much the same process as fireforming .303s and .444s to your .410 shotgun.
>prime case
>load with powder
>do the whole cream of wheat/wad/whatever you do with every fireforming method
>load
>fire rifle vertically
>case should blow out to a perfect fit (*might need to anneal idk)
Frankly I kinda want to get a .410 reamed one and get it threaded for chokes for shits and giggles and maybe try hunting with it if it patterns well. The one I got has a guy's name scratched in it and other than the bluing looking like it just vanished into thin air it's pretty nice over all. Be aware the Indians thought green paint would protect their shit from rust, though, so under the stockline the whole thing is solid (flaking) green. Probably lead paint lol.

NTA but why would you do that when you can make a "firearm"? Surely you can do the same to a break action that was done to the Mossbergs that I can't remember the name of ATM? Without that extra receiver length (of a pump), though, it might not fit in that slot so easily.

Good point. But are you technically allowed to convert a non-β€œfirearm” firearm into a β€œfirearm”? Or does it have to be original made as a β€œfirearm”?
Anonymous No.64159575
>>64159563
No clue. My idea was more that a company would probably sooner do a "firearm" than an AOW. I believe the Mossberg ones only exist because they're virgin receivers that have never been anything else if I remember right (and the source of that info was not talking out their ass).

>Surely you can do the same to a break action that was done to the Mossbergs that I can't remember the name of ATM?

Shockwave. The shockwave and similar "just a firearm" guns need to be over 26" overall to avoid AOW status. Thing is, a normal break action without a stock has less than eight inches of non-barrel. >26 - 8 = >18.
So now we're talking about a barrel length and overall length combination that is legally accessible conveniently by modifying shotguns. So there's no particular demand for the configuration as is from the factory, since any off the shelf break action shotgun can scratch your itch with a hacksaw/gunsmith.
But if you want under 26" overall, then that's NFA item territory. As an AOW, you can disguise it later if you want, or as an SBS, you can put a stock on it later if you want.

Actual skill issue. Practice more with it, probably a bad hold. Consider the folding grip, gives a lot more to hang onto if you have large hands. It's fast to deploy and doesnt increase the ocerall size for conceacled carry. NAA minis are pretty damn accurate.
