.44 is a seriously overlooked carry option in the modern day. The versatility of the cartridge is absurd. .44 spcl can be loaded to mouse fart levels of recoil and hot .44Mag can have rifle levels of energy and wounding out of 4-6" barrels. The 4.25" S&W 69 is one of the best full size carry options on the planet and I can't be convinced otherwise.
