I don't know. Let's see what happens at the end of the Russo-Ukrainian War. Assuming Ukraine survives, which is seeming more probable, I think there's a good chance that there could be a "resetting" of relations with Russia, even if President Putin remains in power. President Trump seems to want improve relations with Russia, and Trump is the most Russia-friendly president of the century so far. I think as an incentive to cease hostilities in Ukraine, Trump could offer Putin sweeping rollbacks of American sanctions that could enable Russian firearms and ammo to enter the country again as part of those rollbacks. Although, if Ukraine is totally conquered by Russia, I think the odds of normalizing relations is almost zero, at least for the next 10 to 25 years, and hence, 7.62 and 5.45 AKs could be difficult to shoot economically unless some other low labor-cost country picks up the slack. IDK, just my thoughts.
