My fantasy is always to be the space marine equivalent of the story killing scores of inferior enemies.
Doesnt matter if i use drones or not.
My current fantasy is me attaching the drone control to my neuralink so i csn control more drones than anyone else.

Mine's piloting a combat droid like in COD Advanced warfare and trying to convince dudes in a trench to surrender to me or die. (I have no vehicle to take them in once they surrender so we all just die to fpvs and artillery).

Arent the remote combat droid in cod IW?
From what i know AW got cool movement due to the Exos+drone swarms.
While IW got the Cannon wielding robot, Cool BVR combat in space that is visual and drones

And lets be honest.
Space marines wouldnt be fair either because they are Power armored transhuman warriors that just bypass all your layered defense and teleport to your base and they can melee tanks.
But melee combat is glorious so thats fine

Melee combat in books and movies and video games is glorious.
Marching your little plastic army men across the board into each other is not.

I shall shout command to surrender via remote controlled androids to native Russian speakers and get increasingly upset when they don't comply. (They keep calling me pidor but I'm not really there so it doesn't count)

I remember the quote about trebuchets making heroic fights moot but horses seem pretty fair
