No, I generally think video games have been a net positive for guns, hence why there has been such a concerted effort in the last decade to make games faggy and shit. The thing I see as fucking up the gun sphere is social media like Instagram and tiktok, where everything is done for shallow engagement with passing fads. Thats the real mind poison.

Yes. But not in the way you might think. It's not some silly debate between tacticool and fudd guns.

There are two problems:
1) people think real life has a meta like games do
2) human psychology always tries to simplify things to black and white but the internet has only made this worse. We're constantly being asked to swipe left or right, smash or pass, my party vs. your party. There is no room for nuance.

Popularity tends to lower standards. For example compare any mainstream pop song or beer to something made by a smaller artist or some local brewery. Yeah some of it is pure unfiltered trash but it's better than tasteless, inoffensive mush that gets pushed on John Q Public. And when it's good, by god it's something exceptional compared to what the run of the mill is. Guns are no different, bland and uninteresting guns for the normies, trash guns for people that enjoy trash or can't recognize its trash, and true works of art for those that can recognize a good gun

The point was that I EDC heavier guns than a 2011 or a Glock. I used to edc a full size 92 as well. Staccatos have polymer grip frames, that Nighthawk has an aluminum grip frame, only 2011s with steel grip frames are heavy.
