These new disposable vapes are horrible. Most of them even have high resolution LCD screens. I have no idea how someone can just chuck something like this in the bin. They're probably the same niggers you hear complaining about microplastics and BPA in thermal paper receipts and shit.

Yeah I got a Super Lemon Haze hash oil vape just like this and I wanted to open it and hack it. I build a lot of DIY stuff but it was just so junk like. It's honestly a waste of time to make it so nice.
Good 2 gram vape too. Over all I like the no control pre-warm button pull to activate.

Just pack a Zyn

I'm pretty sure the vape cartridges are being used as ematches to detonate smokeless poweder as a primer for semtex.

There's donation drives in Ukraine to collect them, with a box in the lobby of many apartment buildings, same with tin cans for trench candles (either tuna/catfood sized for citronella candles or soup/vegetable can sized for cooking/heating, also PET bottlecaps for prosthetics and any dried food people want to give away.

Can Zyn be used as a detonator?
Because a vape cartridge packed with gunpowder will detonate with applied voltage to the contacts, which will set off the plastic explosives it's embedded in.

They're retarded addicts. They just don't think about stuff like that. They're perfectly happy to waste their money and life on their cravings. What's a little e-waste except a reminder that they need to go buy a new one?
I wouldn't go so far as to claim they're non-sentient, but some of them are definitely getting there.

Sort of makes sense, most of them have fairly potent batteries in them that can be somewhere around 3-4V and putting out 2.5-4A
If it'll vapourise juice in cotton and nickel wire it'll run an electric detonator easily enough

The heating coil IS a detonator, if you pack the empty cartridge with primer/powder/whatever.

The battery is less essential I think, since you can run the detonator off the drone's battery. Useful for dropped demo charges though.

We're getting closer and closer to manufacturing FPV drones for home defense. Imagine rigging a vape detonator to a 12 ga shell and mounting it on the nose of vidrelated (inside a short piece of improvised pipe if necessary). Or somesuch similar concept. Contact. BOOM.

Wondering if these vape coils (with native battery) can ignite thermite. Can anyone confirm? Or, willing to experiment and post back? I like being able to use a drone battery if needed, but if that bother can be bypassed by using the vape battery for contact detonation ... could simplify things a bit.

the shotgun shell on it's own doesn't provide any decent forward momentum. the powder would explode, but the rounds would not go very far, nor at a speed that is dangerous to anyone besides those on top of it.
you need the pipe.

That isn't going to work, you need something really hot for that. Minimum to get it to work would be a good amount of magnesium powder to work as a booster of sorts to get enough heat to get it going. Thermite still might need a sensitizer. I'd think a reaction based ignitor might be a better choice though if immediate ignition isn't necessary, some of those can get the required heat and could be initiated in a variety of ways since you're just allowing two chemicals to mix.

And I am wondering why in the name of satans asshole you want to use thermite for home defense.

Also shotgun shells without a pipe and enough counterweight won't do shit as other anons have pointed out.
there are however pretty small shaped charges and cutting charges that are used for some nieche applications. Probably highly restricted, but those would do the trick.

What about cracking open a road flare and stuffing a vape chamber with that material? Seems a vape coil would ignite that shit, and that should than (??) be hot enough to torch thermite? And, yeah, magnesium strips or shavings are fairly well-known for this. I even have a couple small blocks I bought at Walmart for wilderness firestarter kits. Mix a few shavings into road flare material, stuff in vape chamber, profit.

Well, there's a "cool factor" to consider. But I hadn't intended the concept as part of home defense. I just happened to add a second speculation while daydreaming about home defense. Was thinking of the Ukie Dragon's Breath drones, but as per the video >>64172448 for 4th of July hijinks and such.

>just enough [barrel] to contain the powder charge
Yeah, that's what I had in mind, like a shark boomstick. You basically contain the shotgun shell and only give it one direction to release the energy. Mini-pipe bomb shaped charge. I meant "improvised" in my post as in improvised "pipe." Doesn't have to be metal, could be fiberglass cloth or window screen soaked in epoxy and wrapped several layers thick around a shell or some other improvisation. Plastic pipe, piece of tin can secured with hose clamps, etc. Then aim the path of least resistance at your target and fly at him, either direct contact or figure out how to remote-detonate from three or eight feet away.
