What kind of damage does a drone weapon do to a ship such as a Buyan in terms of making it mission incapable when the drone is targeted on the ship's weapons and radars? I'm not terribly familiar with Russian damage control.

I guess if you fuck up the radar the ship cant see anything and is no longer capable of completing its mission as a result

the radar antenna itself is pretty low tech
it'll suck a bit (more) to navigate, but otherwise they're fine
for bigger ships that's a low 6 digit €/$ part
russia makes those domestically so probably cheaper

With a small warhead targeting the radarsystems might be a way to temporarily get the ship out of the fight, but targeting VLS cells could potentially cause secondary effects, i guess it's more about what the operator thinks they can reliably hit.
