Why didn't the Beretta style rotating barrel catch on?
It's a proven design in military service for decades. It's a much more reliable suppressor host. Many shooters feel it's more accurate. It doesn't seem to have any obvious disadvantages to the browning tilt barrel other than maybe slightly higher manufacturing cost. Why is it so rare today?
