America had a population that was 100% wired for electricity in the cities by the 1920s almost every other town by the 1940s had ready access to it. Their ports had cranes that were run on electricity instead of coal and steam. They could build 3 Liberty ships a day. Its general population owned at least one car that used to drive to work and transport the family. Their farming methods allowed twice as much grains to be grown in the same amount of field as German farmer. Their factories were the most advanced in the world allowing one person to do the work of 30. The only reason West Germany prospered was because the US kept hundreds of thousands of PoWs in the US and showed them the ropes working factories and farmland until war's end.

Germany was an absolute poverty shithole before and during the war in comparison.
