China win again! :)

Seriously, this is the design the Pentagon should still force everyone to standardize on, for CARRIER landing capable trainer, as we as general purpose low cost light fighter and lite attack.

If the Italians adopted a Russian design, and now China is not just using, but selling everywhere, that means its one of those timeless near perfect designs.

Why would a big money outfit like USA use 2nd tier aircraft? Because these days its 98% about being a missile or smart bomb truck.

The Chinese version has afterburners and does mach 1.4. That means its as fast as an F-35.

The proposed USN version of the Redhawk "would not be carrier capable". LOL That means our co-ed and DEI USN pilots will be doing their first ever carrier landings in $100+ full blown F-35, on real front line nuclear super-carriers. What could possibly go wrong?

Seems like a detuned trainer should have stout landing gear, just to handle rookie mistakes, and that would also allow it to operate from less that perfect runways, but WTF do I know? It does strike me that in Afghanistan even, guys were calling for air-support but often "no assets available in area".

Between the reddit spacing, amorphous use of first to third person, and almost incomprehensible punctuation, all I can say is implessive.

Their gay little parade was so hilarious to anyone with actual power or white skin so all the poos and dogs are extremely riled up that the western world hasn’t fallen for their extremely low effort propaganda like the 60iq mainlanders and brownoids have.

I think we just didn't give a shit about their implessive parade and were more busy talking about Orange man doing whatever.

this looks pretty good, but WTF they can't do an Engrish dubbing?

they seem to have constant engine failures for no particular reason, which is probably realistic.

Give me a land border, 5-6 years of preperation and 1/1000th of their budgets and i will bury both the USAF and PLAAF simultaneously in any regional conflict.

prob with F-35 is that, even IF its good, and thats a big "if", its turned out to be major Hanger Queen.

And its Hanger Queen supposed super-powers just don't matter for many of its missions.

Its nuts that they were using F-16s and even F-15 for air support in Afghanistan, and sounds like the reason often "no assets", but they only got some many gold plated super-jets.

fair. what are the rules though? would it be specifically to cripple the air forces before conflict or a 1 on 1 shit fight in the skies without area denial systems?
are they allowed to interfere with your plans for those 5-6 year prep? would you need to use opsec for the prep? or do they just get to sit there and not prepare defenses.

Why the hell would you need an F-35 in Afghanistan when the environment permitted A-10s?

you thought the Oct 7 Hamas paramotor attack was something, you ain't gonna be ready for this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCjz3HZ8M8w

carries up to 3, packs 4 ATGM and has targeting thingy.

100mph, 250 mile range.

Extreme STOL, and can "naturally" semi-auto pilot ground hug, sorta like a WIG, but can also fly up to 11,000ft (fully loaded).

Fun fact: Gyros can VTOL in about 20mph wind, OR can VTOL behind another Gyro using that Gyros prop wash as wind.

China had a parade I guess and nobody really cared.

This made China very upset because they think they're the centre of the world but they're actually just the world's sweatshop.

You haven't been following my ranting have you? That's ok, i'm a acquired taste like being covered in castor oil from a total loss rotary engine while wearing a oil covered wool lined leather flight suit..

It's shitty AI concept piece using a Fokker Dr.1 with a pair of MD-550s instead of the single shit inducing total loss engine it originally had. It has a bubble cockpit cover from a Korean war era helicopter like in M*A*SH.

The idea is a modernized Fokker DR.1 that has a decent engine and a oxygen mask for the pilot, the idea is how fast and high could you get? I'm open to suggestions like a tri-plane with swept wings.

>>64219063
If they can't hit the enemy airfields then it isn't fair yes? I'm thinking something like infantry divisions but tri-planes. It took the US Air Corps 6-8 weeks to train pilots in WW1 and some of them had never drive a car before. 10-15K aircraft would be a Air Corps, basically a army group with 50-60k people.

>would you need to use opsec for the prep?

Yes, but there is a issue with that: Every possible foe would think it was a joke or just a random propaganda threat. They would probably think that in 2025 no one would hit you with 10-15k small craft. At worst they would imagine it as some sort of training program like Germany did in the interwar years with glider schools.

It's all fun and games until there are a few thousand swept wing Fokker DR.1Ms flying through the streets of Vladivostok, Beijing or Tokio*.

Obviously i'm exaggerating the idea but you get the point, a light aircraft swarm over Kiev as interceptors very light attack aircraft (VLACs) intercepting drones isn't a wholly bad idea. As long as they were as simple as a car to operate you would never run out of pilots, half of /k/ would join in a instant.

*Deliberately using archaic spelling. Also it's called Formosa.

it will complement the swarms of $8,000,000 lite attack jet trainers.

BTW, they say the Gyros cost about $15,000 without weapons/targeting. 10hrs training is all that is required.
