I think the real problem is how fast that shit is regurgitated on normie social media now. Back in the day it took a few years before you saw memes pop up on random fourms/facebook and by then we moved onto something else. Now? It's almost indiscernible where this shit originates.

F/A-XX and F-47 are the names of the fighter elements of the Navy's and the USAF's identically named NGAD programs, respectively.
The Navy's program tends to be pronounced "en-jad", while the Air Force tends to pronounce it like "en-gad".

The F/A-XX is arguably the more important fighter considering how outdated much of the Navy carrier air wings are, which is Congress's opinion. F-47 is currently the DoD's (DoW soon, eyeroll) baby.

The Navy is indeed retarded because they only proposed 237 F-35Cs total to congress, and half of congress thinks that Super Hornets are the same as Hornets. With the budget for both NGADs being juggled around they should just focus on getting more F-35s to hit that goal but proceeded to order less this year. So dumb.

Yup. A part of me wishes they stay undecided about the budget and NGAD remains in limbo until the F-35 actually demonstrates its supremacy in combat a few times so we know what 6th gen should *actually* look like.
Wasn't the F-35C like half a decade behind the other two variants in refinement, though? They should expedite that first. The Navy seems to be fucking up everything it touches.
