FETISH THREAD
Are you a bakelite man? Do see-thru rings on a vintage durr rifle get you off? Are you a simp for mannlicher stocks? Whatever that little details is, post ITT.

I'll start: Spur triggerguards, choice of the true gentleman.

Open top revolvers. Percussion Colt's, Lefaucheux, early Gasser revolvers, etc. Revolvers without top straps just look better.

Only slightly related, but carrying guns or knives stuck in your belt or sash is very aesthetic.

Is that actually it? I had heard it was for reloading, IE it gives you a decent place to grip with another finger while you've got the top opened up and pointed down or at a strange angle where your finger won't easily slip off, but that makes sense too I suppose.

Bonus points if it takes absurdly large rounds… 9mm for scale.

On that note it looks like I’ll be hopefully getting a 460 xvr here soon.. and found a ported Thompson contender with a 8 inch barrel in 50 Alaskan at a lgs…. If it doesn’t get sold I’m hoping to grab that in a few months.. hopefully they aren’t flying off the shelf…

The 1911 should be declared the official handgun of the United States of America, and every able bodied, legally eligible man should be issued one when he turns 18.

The 1911 should be on at least several state flags and government emblems.

The 1911 should be legally protected cultural heritage as to prevent tactitroons from bastardizing it and still calling it a 1911.

The 1911 should be explicitly favored over foreign firearms.

1911 production in the US should be subsidized and held to a high standard to ensure that Americans have consistent access to high quality, US made 1911s.

If I ever win the lottery, I'm going to commission a high-end custom gunsmith to make the most Rube Goldberg firearm ever devised by man. I'll even have it designed for, but not with, a full-auto sear in case the NFA ever gets repealed.

The Ruger #1 is an awesome rifle. It's based on the Farquharson action like >>64226976 though it has a tang safety instead of the lever on the side. The old lever looks cooler, IMHO, but the tang safety is more ergonomic.

Wrong. The moon clip text in your pic is in a different font, It probably took a boomer 1000 hours in MS paint. S&W put a lot of work into making the 547 not use moon clips. HKS even makes a speedloader for it ffs.
