CSX E-Series
If they made the CSX E-Series DA/SA it'd be practically perfect. Maybe some 1913 rail would push it closer to perfect.

it is unironically the only smith and wesson gun I've ever seriously considered buying.

I wanted one in .30 pooper carry, was disappointed they decided to nix it. Oh well, maybe some conversion barrels in the future or another company releases something in it, until then ill cope with my shield plus

Is this thing SAO? looked on S&W and couldn't find an answer in the description.

Yes, its 1911 style, but no grip safety and external extractor.

not my fault you can't figure out how to search for something on the internet.

I would rather a grip safety and no manual safety personally

I understand your desire but frankly I bought my CSX because it is SAO. With enough DA/SA offerings I was very intrigued by a cocked and locked subcompact. My CSX did not disappoint me in any way.

The CSX is really good but I saw the Walther and CZ (picrel) microcompact patents now I can't get one

Here's the Walther, they also trademarked "PDK" so it's probably called that. I'm sticking with the gen 3 g19 for now

It makes me kinda sad that the S&W CSX E is the better gun, but the S&W Equalizer will likely be the more popular option.

>>64232374
You are correct in that making this gun a SAO was great and necessary, but there are not any 1.5-stack micro pistols that are DA/SA. We have striker-fired options, internal hammer SAO (S&W Equalizer and FN Reflex), and now this external hammer SAO. The DA/SA options will hopefully come soon.

>>64232374
The offering of SAO/DAO/DA-SA's beyond duty size are all lacking. Strikers are cheap to produce, and the companies don't care people blow their dick off because it's not their dick.

Can't say I like the way S&W styles any of their autos, but if it meets my practical requirements, that actually elevates it aesthetically somehow, and I can look past it.

Thanks, anon. My CSX interest is now on pause.

>Walther
Make sure it's made in their Walther factory and not the Umarex factory. The difference between the Walther PDP (great) and the Walther .22 (dogshit) is glaring.

Judging by the amount of effort put into the design it'll be made by the main factory
>Double feet mags like a steyr GB to minmax capacity
>Single slide rail to reduce width
>Customizable cocking "ears" like an HK or FN hiper

The option for DA/SA would be nice actually, but it's pretty cool as is.

>>64232513
True. There just isn't very much for DA/SA compacts and subcompacts, you have a few compacts and semi-compacts, but no real subcompacts.

You're not getting double feed(or feet, nice) and reduced width my guy.

I like it a lot. I have tiny hands, yet had no issue manipulating the safety and mag release without having to shift my grip any. Recoil is a bit snappy, but that's on account of how small it is. I plan on purchasing one in the near future
Anonymous No.64234856 [Report] >>64236295

But they did doe it's a p365 style mag but double feed at the end instead of single feed
Anonymous No.64235660 [Report]
>>64234733
They make a comped version, see if you can try that one out and if the recoil is easier.
Anonymous No.64236295 [Report]

Anon, the P365 isn't even double stack, why would someone make a double feed micro compact?

My only gripe is the front grip is a bit wobbly on the new one and the safety likes to stick for some reason
