>Is it any good?
its decent enough
notably, since it also predates modern usage of zombies, it has a somewhat more realistic zombie virus
only a small portion of infectees turn violent, the virus is just degrading the hosts nervous system and turns them hysterical
what makes the virus deadly is that it spreads through water
and being a romero film, satire is in full swing
a key conflict is that you cant really tell infected from not
there is no easy way to tell apart someone succumbing to the virus and people acting justifiably scared or angry of a military presence
and to lay it on a bit thickly, the use of military force is deemed justified because the virus might "spread" to other towns and cause a "domino effect"
if you liked dawn of the dead, odds are you will like the crazies
though it probably isnt as good as dawn of the dead or even day of the dead
