russia doesn't have the guns to deploy a barrage to vilnius. the only thing they can do is spamming drones, and even then, international air complements with their EW would make short work of it. we're talking about a nato-russia war, not a proxy war like ukraine, russia as it stands now doesn't have a chance.

As >>64244404 said they have the numbers. War in Ukraine is being conducted 100% by volunteers, they still have all their conscripts and they can always conscript more.

It doesnt matter though because they would never ever do a direct kinetic action against the Balts. The only shit you would ever see there would be some 3GW faggotry with plausible deniability and whatnot.

I am unironically demoralized and don't think any NATO member aside from maybe Finland would come to assist the Baltic countries by air within a week at least. Finland could still defeat Russia outright, especially after they get their F-35s, but I don't think this is how the alliance ought to work.

they can moobilize.

russia is reaching the point where they need to offer obscene sign-on bonuses to keep raising volunteer troops and they've basically emptied their prison system by now, but they can always actually mobilize. this comes with a lot of severe and permanent downsides, and there's always the question of what you'd equip them with now that all the gucci shit and even most of the good condition soviet junk is gone, but I don't doubt for a second that they could raise more cannon fodder and keep doing so for years yet.

mobilization takes time, even hauling a 100k conscripts there will register on everyones radar but that aside what about the gear?
You can conscript a peasant and make him a soldier but you cannot confiscate a kamaz and tell it to identify as a MLRS now (not that the lack of trucks isn't bad enough already)
They sure as hell won't have air superiority so even if say 300k mobiks appeared there they're still gonna need a lot of AA systems to cover them and a shitload of tubes to pave the way

>War economies can keep on chugging indefinitely, especially ones as rich in natural resources as Russia
What the russian economy mainly produces is petroleum and raw resources for export. Literally Africa/Venezuela-tier economics.
They're a massive net-importer of food and manufactured goods.
If the russian economy continues to crash and burn as it has for the last few months, the people of russia will soon find out that coal and oil aren't edible. And no one with excess food to sell will exchange it for the worthless monopoly money that they call rubels.
