You probably can't. If the import mark was on the barrel that's gone once it gets swapped out. Serial numbers on those repeat and the rest of the markings are vague as hell. The manufacturer is usually not put down on the 4473 because the people at the gun store don't know exactly what they are looking at most of the time.

That's even assuming it was imported post 1968, which it may well have not been. Could have been imported in the 1950s and passed around hand to hand with no paperwork at all.

The rest of the setup seems rank amateur. Using an old action is smart, but the scope setup looks like it was done by somebody who doesn't shoot much. Still, evidently good enough for 200yd.

The scope is set way too far back in the rings, as if the shooter is of incredibly small stature and struggling to get their head close enough.

Scopes in general have an eye box, or a range behind the back of the optic where your eye has to be in order to use it properly. This setup is really awkward. The scope is sitting high, way too far back, no cheek riser to help maintain cheek rest on the stock.

Ordinarily you'd see the scope adjustment turrets somewhat roughly centered between the rings, a cheek rest on the stock if it's sitting that high. If the shooter has shorter arms, a stock with a shorter length of pull would make an enormous difference in terms of balance and ergonomics. This all seems trivial, but a more comfortable rifle is far easier to shoot well than one that you are struggling to hold let alone shoot.

The scope might move over time because of recoil and if/when it does, it could damage the important parts of the scope. It's safe to have the rings move along the tube, but it's not safe to put that force into the adjustment assembly or the wider frontal part of the scope.

I agree 150 yards is close range for a rifle, but it's worth considering that the average school shooter type is walking into a crowded place and firing at targets within spitting distance. Often they demonstrate very little competence with their firearms, which doesn't matter considering they are firing at masses of unarmed people at close range.
Getting a hit at 150 yards implies someone who at least spent some time at the rifle range to learn the basics, which is by no means fair to assume in many cases.
Let's be real, plenty of US gun owners are not firing their guns at the range in any kind of meaningful practice and could not reliably hit a man sized target at 100 yards.
