1. Cyprus having "at least two" Barak batteries is something that's been reported in December last year, so it's not a new development
2. The Tweet OP's pic comes from is from The Young Turkish Cypriots' Twitter page and was posted August 19th, so a little under a month ago

I don't know much about Turkish or N. Cypriot politics, but I get the impression this is feigned outrage for some political purpose.
I would imagine against Israel, Greek Cypriots or both.

I don't know much about the geology of iranian mountains but these Taurus mountains that extend for entire southern Turkey are of the melted magma and they are one of the hardest rock on the planet. So when dug in properly, there is no way to damage them.
