The Ukrainians have started to deploy razorwire in their gas pipelines in an effort to hinder and stop Russian assaults through them.
How effective would the method in Pic Rel be at stopping a Russian assault team making it to their destination?

How do they get out of the pipe once once at the exit end? Angle grinders? In a [possibly former] gas pipeline?

I just remembered something from a story about a bunch of guys that got Delta P'd halfway through an oil pipe. They had to "Pig" the guys that didn't make it out the other end of the line.

So glad you didn't ask. When talking about pipelines a "pig" is a projectile that is fired down the bore or the pipeline for any number of purposes. Some are for cleaning or scraping, some have instrumentation on them for diagnosing all sorts of things in the pipeline. They are launched at pretty high velocities.

Now imagine you are valiant mobik sent on dangerous mission through enemy pipeline for glorious motherland! Imagine you are halfway down and suddenly you feel the air in the pipe start rushing back the way you came fast. If you are not thrown back by the gale the last thing you see is pic related zooming at you as it "cleans" you and your friends out of the pipe.

Now imagine being a guard on the Russian end. Workers say a pig came through, you being mighty mobik of pig slaying you run to pipe with gun ready. When you get there you find there are no Ukrainians, just some weird object and some sludg... IS THAT OF BEING SERGEI'S LUCKY HAT?! CYKA BLYAT! Sludge is of being PEOPLE!!!

Tie a long strong chord to the end of the wire, attach the other end to a vehicle or a winch on the end you entered from. Pull it. Even if it doesn't pull it all the way out it could pull it into one straight line which you could then crawl under or over fairly easily

Long chord attached to the bottom of the razorwire so it's in the water and not easily visible. Have it rigged so if the wire is pulled backwards (to clear it) the chord pulls the trigger on a gun facing down the tube. Point of order, Helldiver equipment is actually really well put together. Their armour is surprisingly practical and their weapons work. Their problem is the fact that they're being sent in groups of four at most into the middle of enemy territory. Kinda like the piecemeal human waves (more like ripples) that the Russians do to keep up a semblance of pressure at the front.

To be fair to the Helldivers, they're basically commandos that are sent behind the lines to cause chaos in the enemy rear whilst the SEAF do all of the main fighting, or they get sent on expeditions to hostile areas where Super Earth doesn't want to waste an entire army to find out if there's anything useful there for them in the first place.

From what I remember, Russian forces stormed a building held by Ukrainian reservists. For some then-unknown reason (since attributed to standard Russian retardation) they chose to ride the lift up to the higher floors.
The Ukrainian forces turned the lifts motor off then, iirc, dropped grenades down the shaft.
