Does anyone know how to measure the autosear pinhole with calipers for the x-axis distance hole placement (in this schematic)? Measuring the y-axis placement is pretty straightforward by measuring edges on both the fire selector slot and the autosear pinhole, and the autosear pinhole and the top of the lower receiver. Doing it with just calipers and careful marking beforehand is easy. But most of these prints don't hand hold the x-axis part and the actual blueprint is too dense for me to read with the image quality I have available to me so far.

I should say I'm too retarded to figure it out. That's really what the problem is. Anyone know a good trick?

Wish I knew, pardner! They sell fixtures so that you don't have to gauge the pilot hole by hand
