Hear me out
So hear me out:
We all know that robo dogs suck quite a lot, so they're not really a great option for front line transport of goods, so the alternative in Ukraine has been fucking donkeys.
But that comes with the problem that they still need to be led by a person, in order to know where they need to go.

So what if we developed a little machine that is strapped on the back of the donkey, which pinches it to go where we need it to go, so it could deliver the shit autonomously?

Ukrainian troops have long been using β€œground-based robotic systems” for logistics in hard-to-reach positions.

I hope the russians pay dearly for every donkey killed in action.

I can't imagine those either work well in mud season nor drive very autonomously.

Hopefully they will reach the economic decision they made in the Crimean War to stop issuing donkeys as being too expensive in comparison to the cost of conscripts

I'm too lazy to encode videos.
Just trust me, they work.
Not in all situations, but they work.

At a certain time I've looked into similar problems, it was about rescue missions out of dangerous environments (we considered a Chernobyl situation), but it's very cool to see how far it's progresses. I still think control is probably some poor fuck at the end of a controller by wire.

I feel bad for the donkey. Not the dick shits choosing to piss on eachothers heads.
Anonymous No.64281063 >>64286853
Okay. Otherwise, no one will believe it without a video, as usual.

Kind of interesting to see the different construction, top one is sort of your classic machine and sheet metal shop while the bottom one has a lot of 3D printed bits in it. Both equally valid when you need stuff in a hurry for not a lot of money

look up cow collars, they vibrate to steer them and work very well

>Learning each supply route after only a couple of trips, she often traveled to deliver supplies to the troops on her own, without benefit of a handler. The highlight of her nine-month military career came in late March 1953 during the Battle for Outpost Vegas when, in a single day, she made 51 solo trips to resupply multiple front line units.
Just train them better

Training costs money, and animals are only so predictable. This one horse did a good job, probably a lot of other horses didn't, and I wouldn't expect an animal to be this well behaved.

It looks small and light enough with a large enough footprint that it would float on deep mud pretty easily.
