No. They are made to PSA spec which is hand fitted by Tyrone LaShaniquiagomezahmed so you get what you pay for with PSA if not worse than using build parts from REPUTABLE manufactures.

My H&R lower has been fine and it's a pretty early production one AFAIK. That part of PSA is run by the guy who ran NoDakSpud. Next will be a 9mm DOE or an M16A1, not sure; really trying to budget for guns I'll actually be able to use for hunting (and an MP5) so I'm penny pinching. Seems to come with a Forward Controls Design trigger, just without the logo. Bought one as an upgrade for another (non-PSA/H&R) lower and only realized afterwards they feel and look almost the same.

They're actually being made by Nodak Spud, who have been making retro AR stuff for a long ass time before they got bought by PSA. Got my Dad an M16A2 variant and everything about it looks great.

At that price point I would just shell out whatever couple hundred more bucks it is for a Fulton armory gun that you can get set up however you want.

H&R lower I used for my 604 build was g2g. Assembling my own rifle was about $100-$200 cheaper then buying from PSA and I have original furniture and some original small parts like the flash hider/selector/buffer tube/etc.
