I just finished season 3 for the first time and Harrow was the saving grace. Did not care about Gillian running a whore house into the ground subplot, I did not care about Margaret’s women’s health subplot nor the affair she was having with Owen, I did not care about Chalky’s daughter complaining about how she didn’t want to marry a boring doctor but instead a hood nigger, I did not care about Nucky’s flat chested side piece (although she was hot).
Harrow, Van Owen and Gyp were based but that’s about it

I saw this one late in life. I was aware of its reputation as shockingly violent and most of the way through I was assuming it was more to do with the dour and cynical tone of the movie. More of a 'violent' in spirit.
>And then I made it to the end of the movie. Holy fucking shit even today that final shootout is absurdly amazing. I love them not really having any issues with the German officer but well, "eh, fuck you too." Someone did the math and it was like 140+ people or something. I love that look Borgnine gives him when they shoot the general, recognizing that there's no coming back from this so might as well go out as good as you can. Give 'em Hell, Pike.
