The ground forces are probably alright by the metrics of an overwhelmingly conscript/reservist army organized around defending the home country from another invading army. But they're not an all professional force suited for expeditionary warfare or drawn out police actions. Like what the Gaza war has turned into due to Bibi being more interested in staying out of prison than concluding the war in some manner. Hence the recent showing being pretty meh, but far from Chechen war tier bad.

Morality Aside, they had a pretty golden era from 1948-1973.

I think since transitioning to Low Intensity Conflict has kinda of cucked them since then and im not sure how well they would do in another conventional war. That being said, I think its undeniable that their air-force, cyber, and intelligence apparatus are all pretty competent (aside from a few major intelligence failures which are blots on their otherwise great track record).
