It's incredible that the America lost over 14,800 (including American mercs) in Iraq and Afghanistan over a span of 24 years, more than 7,000+ miles away from home.
According to the Russian military’s own numbers, they've reportedly suffered a similar number of losses in just 30 days. A leaked document even suggests that over 500 soldiers are lost per day.
Do Russians simply accept being used like expendable workers in an ant colony?

As an armour modeller I fucking love interwar to cold War Russian ranks. There's so much you can do with them, rough cast textures, gnarly weld seams, all the battering and damage they take, the black soot plumes from the exhausts due to the poor engine seals.... fabulous vehicles. Not great but honestly not *that* bad. It's got the same gun as the T-54 which means compatability with modern(ish) ammo. Shit against an Abrams/Leo 2/Challenger, but still plenty of NATO AFVs it could still kill. The real disadvantage is the lack of thermals, but that's a problem that applied to the most cutting edge Soviet tanks.

>it's a green flag for germany to send some taurus too.
Germany has never had a reason not to send it. Every time people went "send it" they came up with some bullshit
>Hey Germany, send Taurus
NEIN! WE CANNOT BE DOING ZIS. REASON IS WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TO BE SENDING.
>That's not true, you have at least 300, with 150 'ready to go'
OKAY! WE CAN'T SEND ZEE TAURUS AS IT IS ZEE LONG RANGE ZEE WEAPON WE CANNOTS OF BE DOING ZAT. OZERS MUST OF BE DOINGS THAT FIRST.
>Well UK send Storm Shadow, so you can now
NEIN TAURUS IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TO ZE STORM SHADOW (lie) IT IS ZE BRIDGE KILLER SO WE CANNOT OF BE SENDINGS IT
>But it has a 30kg larger warhead, that is not the line between 'bridge killer' and 'slightly more powerful but slower Storm Shadow'
OKAY NEIN WE CANNOT BE SENDING IT BECAUSE THE TAURUS IS OF TOO HIGH TECH AND WE CANNOT OF BE RISKINGS THAT FALLING INTO RUSSIAN HANDS
>But the only real difference is Storm Shadow uses BROACH warhead and Taurus uses MEPHISTO, one uses a time-delay and the Taurus uses a programmable 'layer penetrated' delay
OKAY NEIN NEIN NEIN WE CANNOT BE SENDING IT BECAUSE IT IS OF TOO COMPLICATED FOR ZEE UKRAINIANS TO BE OF USING
>But they managed to use Storm Shadows, even blending Tornado weapon racks onto Su-24's to make hybrid aircraft to fire them, clearly showing technical ability
OKAY NEIN THE REAL REASON WE CANNOT BE SENDING THEMS IS IT REQUIRES TOO MUCH TRAINING TO USE
>But they have learned to use other systems quickly, this isn't an excuse
OKAY NEIN NEIN NEIN THE REAL REAL REAAAAL REASON WE CANNOT BE SENDING IS WE'D NEED TO PUT GERMAN TROOPS INTO UKRAINE TO FIRE IT AND THAT'S EVIL AND WE WON'T BE LIKE THE EVIL WARMONGERING BRITS WHO DO THAT ALREADY (unironically they said this still makes me lol)
>But that isn't really a reason, is it?

And that's when I stopped following their excuses.

Note they did the same with armoured vehicles and tanks, btw.

And yet UK and then France sent the same weapon system which is not all that different to Taurus. It's retarded. As I said >>64396917 the real reason is so Germany can pretend to be friends post-war and get their cheap gas and oil again. Which is why they're so reluctant to actually help. Pretty much all the European states bar the Baltics, Nordics and Bongs have done as little as possible (outside of trying to geopolitic and shill their respective MIC). Like the Bongs literally spend billions buying USSR surplus and shit from all over the world just to send to Ukraine, but the exact numbers and shit were never mentioned.

In the end, however, the only real state that can help Ukraine out is USA. Everybody else is either empty or unwilling. The talk of tomahawks is all just trying to get Putin to agree to Trump's deal which is ultimately totally one-sided in favor of Russia and actively hurts Ukraine. Yet Putin keeps rejecting it. Now you got people saying the explosion at the munitions factory in USA was done my Russians as a 'warning' not to send tomahawks to Ukraine because some Russian politician said after Trump floated the idea there would be punishment if they did and it wouldn't be direct or something.

In the end, unless Trump gives Ukraine literally hundreds of the things and says 'go nuts' then it really isn't going to make much difference. The only hope is he gets his piece meddle for his work with Armenia and Israel etc and he can go to town on Russia. But then again, if you believe the Steele dossier, Trump is kompromat and 'owes' Putin.

Integration work was done by the Brits rather than Ukraine themselves. We've used digital arming and release systems on aircraft weapons since forever, so it's kind of easy to adapt our arming and fuzing to different mechanical and electronic inputs.
As far as I know though, the GPS co-ords, infrared imaging references for terminal homing, and fuze setting, are programmed pre-flight, so the Su-24 integration is just getting the release and arming to run from Soviet mechanisms

Putin is maintaining the hardline "maximalist" demands that are effectively identical to what they wanted in March 2022, when they were at the gates of Kyiv. It's obviously completely unrealistic but numerous American intelligence and political sources have confirmed that behind closed doors, the Russians are actually genuinely still demanding that, with zero compromise. Their offered "compromise" was ceding the entirety of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporhizia, and Kherson oblasts to Russia (including the major cities that they do not hold), the complete disarmament of the Ukrainian military, forced regime change in Kyiv, a binding contract that enforced non-alignment for Ukraine, and the establishment of a 200km demilitarized zone from the borders of russia (note that this includes Kursk, Sumy, and other populous areas) which would be "jointly overseen" by several "security guarantors" including both Russia and China. That was their COMPROMISE offer. This is the furthest that America got after months and months of repeated negotiations.

>capital markets
It's not so much being unable to access banking services, while that does remain a pretty large issue that's kinda separate, it's rather that they have to deal in shitty currencies that nobody else will take
Yuan and rupees in particular are just not very useful either internally or internationally, they are both subject to the capital controls of foreign governments, have few agents that will accept them as payment, and are generally just not trusted like the euro or dollar are
They are essentially just left holding the bag for China and India, both currencies are not readily convertible, sure they made some sales, but they had to take money that is just less valuable than it's "equivalent" paper value in dollars or euros, which is not just the difference in conversion rate, but that the currencies are just less useful, which only further depresses their value to below what an exchange rate might suggest
This is made worse because China and in particular India tightly restrict the flow of their currency, so even if you do find someone who will take either of them as payment, China or India may just say no for their own reasons

Uhhh yeah factories closing for several days is basically a reverse strike. Instead of workers refusing to work, bosses refuse to let you in and collect a day's wage.
A four day work week is supposed to be a trade off where you don't lose wages because the productivity is higher than keeping you in the office doing bullshit when there's no actual work to be done. In theory you get less downtime but work the same and get paid the same.
When a factory has no work but they have the financial buffer you still clock in and find those tasks nobody does around the place when they need to do deadlines. But when the finances are in the shitter they don't want to let you in and collect a wage for that day. This isn't a life-work balance and waste minimization experiment, it's a sign that SHIT'S FUCKED.

Ideally you'd also have a similar work week for industrial jobs but with rolling shifts. The main thing with shorter work weeks is that your employees are better rested and have time to take care of personal business on their offtime, so they're more on the ball/less distracted during work hours.

Industrial business won't want to do this because it majorly balloons their personnel costs, both because they'd have to crank up their hourly rates and because they'd need to spend way more in benefits/insurance/management/etc. Whether or not their margins could handle it is up to someone more educated than me.

Both my in-laws served in the military back then and there was a lot of people killed if you include the Commie-Afghans because they clocked up about 50k dead just on their own and the sov military got a bit under 14k KIA with a bit over half a million getting jacked up and wounded, sick or some kind of fuck-up.
9years
That essentially drove the nail into gommunism's coffin as people looked at the lives lost, destroyed and vast amounts of 'stuff' that got fucked up and wandered their busted arses back home with practically nothing to show for it.

From Russia's point of view she is the saviour. The blood of Russians greasing the wheel is accepted and expected. They have never cared about thousands dying. Russian's only care that it is thee not me. Because if your neighbour Sergei who has nice samovar goes off to war, that means when he dies you can take samovar from greieving widow or say he was giving it to you, no proofs otherwise. So it's all very positive in that sense. That if 'rivals' to work or money or goods are dead that means more for me. It's the same logic that people with monarchies still have. They think if you get rid of the monarchies all their wealth will go to me, me personally. They don't realise it won't (and it's doubly stupid for the Bongs since their Royalty is a net positive on their tax bill, they actually save money by having them).

Except you being $500bn in debt is tantamount to you stop existing because while you're being raped by the debt, you cannot build up your military, you don't have any protection (as per Trump's plan) and USA would help Russia with 'special trade deals'. So 10 years, 20 years, Russia will do it again. That's how they've worked for centuries. You're literally trading huge swathes of your country, which will already massively cripple your economy, on top of a debt AND your so-called 'ally' will help your enemy and while your enemy rebuilds and rearms, you're still there struggling to maintain what you've got built, let alone what needs rebuilding. Then as I said, in 10 years, 20 years time, Russia says you've attacked children in Kherson and they're just protecting their people and they take the rest. Because you will have no protection, no guarantees, nothing.

Frankly I think American aid to Ukraine is cheap at the price because it could stand to permanently remove one of our major adversaries from the board and remove their blight of subhumanity from the international scene, if only we had leaders with balls below their cocks and hatred in their hearts. The biggest favor Trump's done Russia so far is letting their stock market rebound off of the perception that "The US government is now friendly to Russia" (see the post-Zelenskyy-White-House-argument "Trump bump") but that's shrinking again because he keeps doing picrel.

Russia's obsession with good ports is an observable phenomenon.
Furthermore, Odesa is considered to be one of the "great cities" of the "Russian world".

I would expect Kremlin to label untrained cannon fodder as "special". You know, cuz recon by fire is a pretty special (retarded) use of troops.
