Isn't the draken almost a stealth figther?
All they have to do is remove the tail vertical stabilizer.
Then it becomes a 6th gen stealth fighter.

I like how you get it first in ace combat ZERO. I was a little scared when F 18s entered the mission and I was flying that sweadish boat

Fun fact: Sweden stored like 150 of these in underground bases in Northern Sweden to be exclusively used by Finland in the case of a soviet invasion.
Soviets would have of course pretargeted and destroyed most finnish airbases in the first hour of the invasion, only for Finland to have an entirely intact reserve airforce emerge out of nowhere.

>Soviet union invades Finland
>They fire 1000 cruise and ballistic missiles at fighter bases
>80% misses and lands in the fields in 10km radius
>Sweden freaks out and release the deep storage drakens
>Finland now has twice as many planes as pilots

There were several privately owned ones parked on on the apron at Chino, you could see them from the boneyard of the Yanks air museam. Planes of fame and yanks are the only reason to go to socal.
The yanks museum was empty and the head of the curation was bored so he let me and a bro sit in a b25, cobra, thunderbolt, and mustang. Great day. He offered to let me volunteer there and I should have done it.

Yeah, you have no idea what makes a stealth plane stealthy other than going by appearance.

Even if they did hit the airbases we already got insurance for that by designing our highways to work as improvised runways. Good luck bombing 1000s of kilometers of road in order to neutralize our ability to launch aircraft.

I dunno OP, the Draken III keeps it and it turns into a robot. I'm pretty sure the robot designers know a thing or two about what fins are needed.

That's pretty much Saab's idea, yes.
