Munition probably overperforms against drone-munitions strapped with RPG's. Does make it useful in conventional role as well skullfucking the shit out of cruise missiles, UAV's and attack helicopters.

In what sense, having shittier radars or reliability of the autocannons? I haven't heard much about this, just that they don't seem to do programmable munitions and/or time-fuzed sub-munition stuff.

Which is the case for basically all of these weapons, you need a layered approach with smaller form-factor point defense based on HMG's as well and these types of SPAAG's to protect HVT's or armored assaults. I'd expect that jammers/detectors would do the heavy lifting for most drone munition defense.
