Can you ID the gun this hamas fighter is carrying?

I think I'm usually pretty good at identifying military firearms and weapons systems from photos but this one completely escapes me.

At a glance it looks kinda like an FNC but then at closer look there are so many things wrong.

Any ideas what could it be?

Well, it says SAR 80 so I'd guess it's a SAR 80. A bit hard to read though, but looks like it's stamped over the mag feed

I guess I need a better display because I really couldn't tell what it says. I guess now that I know I can kinda see it if I squint. All the pics I've seen of SAR 80 have that weird bumpy finish on the receiver, maybe it has been worn out on this one or did they not put that on all guns?
